The final Unplugged Game Night of the year is scheduled for Tuesday, April 14th. RSVP if you would like your student to participate in the event.
Our school is starting a run/walk club called the Happy Feet Huskies for students in grades 3 to 5. The club will meet twice per week from April through June where they will work on goal setting, confidence building, and moving their bodies. The club will participate in a whole school 5k event on June 1st. If your student is interested in joining, please RSVP on the Happy Feet Huskies post.
We have a graphic novelist, Daryl Seitchik, visiting our school April 20-23 to present a writing workshop to all students. She will visit each classroom twice during the week. This event is part of the CLiF Year of the Book grant we were awarded for this school year.
The K to 2 classrooms are hosting a group of community helpers the week before vacation. They will be visiting with conservation officers, Gorham Police Department, Jericho Adventures, Tin Mountain, Gorham Public Library, AMC and Elevate Performance and Recovery.
We are thrilled by how much the students are reading and logging on Beanstack! We had set a school goal of 100,000 minutes for the school year, and we have already surpassed that goal. Our next goal is set to 200,000 minutes. Let's see if we can reach it! Thank you so much for supporting the love of reading at home!
